What percentage of your day; week do you listen to your stereo, radio; iPod or music phone? What percentage of your day is spent behind the television? And how much time do you spend with your friends and socializing? Based on my experience, I would safely say sixty percent, taking into consideration you have school, work or household chores to attend to and that consumes the other forty percent. How much time do you spend taking part in some sort of physical/exercise activity? For most of you, the answer is zero percent…none…nadda…zip…absolutely NONE. And let us not forget to mention your poor eating habits. And though you may have youth on your side the truth is you engage in risky behaviors that affect your health and therefore the majority of health problems are psychosocial. Many young people experience multiple problems. These behaviors are established as a young person and go on to become the lifestyles of adults leading to chronic health problems. In other words, practice a positive, healthy lifestyle from now and reap the benefits today, tomorrow; ten, fifteen years from now you’d still be enjoying those perks. Look all around you, friends; family; neighbors; older folks that you grew up with, look at how so many of them over the years changed from being slim and attractive to fat and well frankly…unattractive, yet many of them have not crossed thirty years old. Those same individuals took their health and physical image for granted neither exercising nor practicing healthy eating practices, today, they are paying the heavy price that includes low confidence; self esteem and major health problems. Now for them, it seems as an infinite task to regain their youthful vibrant self. We are aware of the major distractions that you face every day, but for what it’s worth, the Britney Spears and Rihanna – just to name a few – of our time keep their bodies’ sexy by working out and eating well and that’s the bottom line. Want to look good now and beyond? Start training and making better food choices, IT IS THE ONLY WAY. Yes it may take some effort, no doubt, but we promise you with a little bit of heart and with Anatomie you can do it and keep doing it.
